Watch Illegal Season 2 online: A web series based on Indian judicial system, Illegal is coming back with its season 2 this week. Starring Neha Sharma in the lead, the second season of the show will pick up from where it left, but with a whole new set of twists in its kitty.

In Illegal's season 1, we were introduced to "mad lawyer" Niharika Singh who is hired by a prominent law firm that is helmed by one of the best criminal lawyers in the country- Janardhan Jaitley. However, Singh feels conflicted by Jaitley's morally ambiguous style of practising law which goes against her principles. Towards the ">end, we see Niharika Singh not walk away from Jaitley's firm to start her own venture, but also put his reputation at stake when she wins a case that he thought he could never lose.
Illegal Season 2
In Illegal season 2, we will see the former mentor and his mentee lock horns as enemies, with Singh one up Jaitley, while the latter ventures into politics, all set to be Delhi's next chief minister. The narrative traces their rivalry as well as delves into three complex legal battles that gives the viewers an insider’s look at the tangled world of complex law, big businesses, and dirty politics. Through these cases, viewers will get to explore the lives of lawyers and their battles in court and in life.
Cast of Illegal Season 2
Actor Neha Sharma will be reprising her role as Niharika Singh from season 1. Speaking about returning to the show for its sequel, the actor said that portraying Niharika Singh on screen was a challenging and enjoyable journey for her. "She is unafraid to voice her opinions against wrongdoing and ready to take on even the most powerful forces in her fight against injustice." Sharma also added that Illegal Season 2 sees her character juggle between personal and professional conflicts while striving to bring out the truth to light. "Viewers are in for an engaging courtroom thriller and will love the twists & turns of the journey."
Actor Piyush Mishra will also be seen reprising his role as Janardhan Jaitley in the sequel. The second season also features Akshay Oberoi, Tanuj Virwani, Satyadeep Misra, Parul Gulati and Anchit Kaur in key roles.

Directed by Ashwini Chaudhry, Illegal Season 2 will start streaming from November 25.
