Watch Bhuj online: Bhuj The Pride of India, an upcoming war film is set amidst the backdrop of the 1971 attack on Bhuj airbase as part of the then ongoing Indo-Pak conflict by Pakistan. The film is releasing on August 13, ahead of Independence day. Bhuj: The Pride Of India has Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi and Sharad Kelkar are also part of the ensemble cast in pivotal roles.

The film, directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, will release on an OTT platform as viewers continue to stay away from cinemas due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ajay Devgn-starrer will feature the actor as IAF Squadron Vijay Karnik, who plays a crucial role in re-constructing the Bhuj airbase with the help of 300 local women from village Madhapar after it is destroyed in Pakistan's air raids. The Sonakshi Sinha-starrer is all set for its digital premiere on August 13.

The trailer of the film begins with an airstrike at the Bhuj airport, showcasing the scale of destruction caused by the attack. It was initially slated for a theatrical release in hopes that the pandemic would eventually subside, however, the makers opted for a direct OTT release post the second wave of COVID-19 in India.
Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film, had earlier said that the film was meant for the current and the coming generation as the entire team wanted them to know about this brave soldier Vijay Karnik, who played a significant role in India’s victory in the 1971 war. Calling the Squadron Leader "heroic", Kumar explained how he took a bold step of involving civilians in the war and that it wasn't a hard choice to cast Ajay Devgn for the role.
Recently, the makers of the film had released a song titled Rammo Rammo, featuring Sinha and Dutt from the film. Sinha will be seen performing Garba for the first time on screen in the song.
