American actor Elizabeth Olsen is currently portraying the role of Wanda Maximoff also known as Scarlet Witch in the mini series WandaVison. The series, which has the essence of classic sitcoms and Marvel Universe, has been created by Jac Schaeffer.

Streaming on Disney+, the show is based on the Marvel Comics characters Scarlet Witch and Vision. 

Olsen is well-known for playing the role of the superhero in Marvel films  Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War , Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

-The 32-year-old actor studied theatre at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. 

-Elizabeth Olsen made her acting debut with Martha Marcy May which  was an instant hit and she was showered with praises for her performance in it. 

-The actor joined Marvel Cinematic Universe as Wanda Maximoff, in 2015, which brought her global fame.

-Her siblings, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, are widely known as Olsen twins. The children shot to fame after portraying the role of Michelle Tanner on the sitcom, Full House.

-Her sisters have named their clothing line clothing line ‘Elizabeth and James’ after her and their older brother.

-Elizabeth was aware of fame, due to her siblings, walked away from the spotlight, when she took a break from acting  at the age of 10.

-The Avengers’ actor faced the camera at a young age, when she appeared in her sisters' films.  She had small roles in How the West Was Fun and the series The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley.

-Earlier, Olsen has revealed that she has been an atheist since age 13.
