The action-thriller movie Vikram, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and stars Kamal Haasan, is still dominating the global box office. The movie's OTT release date has finally arrived, much to the excitement of fans who can't get enough of the intense action entertainment. Here is everything we know so far about its OTT release date.

The movie Vikram was released in theatres on June 3, 2022, and it received generally favourable reviews from critics who praised the cast performances—especially those of Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi—as well as the narrative style, action sequences, and technical aspects of the film. The movie made 390 crores in revenue, making it one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies of all time and the highest-grossing Tamil movies of the year.

The film is a spiritual successor of the 1986 film of the same name, also starring Haasan. In his most recent film, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj brings a former RAW agent out of retirement to combat the burgeoning drug epidemic in India.

In the film, Haasan plays the part of RAW agent Arun Kumar in the film. Arun Kumar works for the agency and, at times violent, he doesn't have any compassion for criminals. Both Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil and Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi had important roles in the film as antagonists. Another popular Tamil actor, Suriya, appears in the movie in a cameo role.

The ensemble cast of Vikram includes Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Chemban Vinod, Kumaravel, Santhanabharathi, Vasanthi, Gayathrie, Swathista Krishnan, Maya S Krishnan, and Jaffer Sadiq.

Anbar choreographed the stunts for Vikram, which were cinematographed by Girish Gangadharan, edited by Philomin Raj, and included a background score by Anirudh.

Vikram OTT Release Date

To mark the OTT release date of Vikram, the OTT giant also released an exclusive video starring Kamal Haasan. The announcement was made on the official social media account of the streaming service by posting a special film in which Haasan is seen firing weapons at the screen.
