Vamika photo at Mumbai airport goes viral: Actor Anushka Sharma was seen accompanying her husband, cricket star Virat Kohli on the tour of England. The couple left from Mumbai together with their daughter Vamika in a chest baby carrier. The entire Indian team was spotted traveling with their spouses late in the night on June 2.
India skipper Kohli took Sharma and baby Vamika with him for the long four-month tour to England for World Test Championship (WTC). The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor often gets photographed with her daughter whenever she accompanies her husband on his cricket tours. Meanwhile, this is going to be Vamika's first overseas tour.

In a photo shared by Viral Bhayani, Kohli and Sharma can be seen dressed in black, wearing masks and following necessary COVID-19 protocols at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday night. The actor can be seen carrying the newborn daughter Vamika and shielding her from the paparazzi.
Besides the men's team and their family, players of the women’s cricket team are also allowed to take their families with them during their lengthy tour of England.
Kohli recently interacted with his fans through an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram, during which he also revealed the meaning of his daughter's name. He said, "Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga."
He further added that as a couple they have decided to not expose their child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice. After the birth of their baby daughter in January this year, Sharma and Kohli had asked the media to respect their privacy and not to publish any pictures of their daughter just after she was born. Sharma had told PTI that as parents it is their responsibility to protect the privacy of the child.

On the work front, Sharma, who is married to cricketer Virat Kohli for over three years, was last seen on the big screen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She is currently producing Qala, Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan’s debut film, to be streamed on Netflix. She is yet to announce her next movie, however, it is being reported that she has signed a biopic on former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team - Jhulan Goswami.
