The nationwide success of films like Pushpa: The Rise, RRR, KGF: Chapter 2 and Vikram have further proved that regional films have a pan-India appeal due to their content and execution. It is no wonder then that many popular regional films are getting a Hindi remake.

Take Forensic, for instance, featuring Radhika Apte and Vikrant Massey, which had an OTT release last weekend. It is a crime-thriller revolving around a dark tale of child kidnappings and murders, based on a 2020 Malayalam film by the same name.
