Where was Norris' phone? What was she doing outside a convenience store- the last time she was seen by anyone, and why was she calling from a stranger's phone? Walker is now trying to find answers to all these questions as she tries to figure out what happened to her daughter. In her latest social media post, Walker wrote that her daughter was "just as important as Gabby Petito", the social media influencer who has sparked a nationwide campaign to trace her, only to end in a double tragedy after she and her boyfriend were both found dead, at separate locations. Read more about it here.

Walker has been posting about her daughter's search regularly on Facebook, sharing flyers and details about what transpired in the days that led to the influencer's disappearance.

Here are 10 things to know about the disappearance of Lateche Norris:

1. Lateche Norris, a 20-year-old budding tattoo artist and TikToker, hails from Indiana in United States.

2. Earlier this year, she moved to Santa Cruz with her boyfriend Joseph "Joey" Smith. After a brief return to Indiana, Norris went to San Diego on the persuasion of Smith.

3. According to Walker, Smith had recently stepped out of a rehab due to addiction issues and also did construction work.

4. She further claimed that while her boyfriend had promised her daughter that he would be starting work at a construction facility soon and that they would spend a couple of days in a tent on a beach, Smith was actually living on the streets.

5. Walker also alleged that her daughter and Smith had a fight the night before she vanished.

6. Norris had promised to call back her mother during their interaction on November 5, however, the call never came. Worried about her daughter's well-being, Walker filed a missing complaint with the San Diego Police Department on November 9.

7. Walker has clarified that her daughter didn't have substance abuse issues, either in past or present. "My daughter isn’t an addict, she isn’t a recovering addict."

8. On November 30, the San Diego Police Department announced deemed Norris as an at-risk missing person based on the length of time since she was last seen.

9. The department, however, also added that there was no evidence to suggest Norris was the victim of a crime.
