Sonam Kapoor wishes Swara Bhasker on her birthday: Actor Sonam Kapoor shared a birthday post with a heartfelt message for her co-actor and friend Swara Bhasker on social media. Wishing the actor on her special day, Kapoor wrote that their friendship is “godsend”.
“Dear Behen, we just spoke a day before and I realised that our friendship is a godsend. Sakshi, Bindiya and Chandrika... of every person you’ve essayed, my favourite remains the one you are off-screen. May your voice only amplify with time, love you lots. Happy happy birthday, Swaru,” the Instagram post read.
Swara Bhasker responded to the message with equal affection as she wrote in the comment section, “Love you so much Sonammmmmmm! You are the bestest”.
The two Indian actors have shared the screen in films like Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Veere Di Wedding.
The 33-year-old actor is currently spending her birthday in Goa along with her family and Veere Di Wedding co-star Shikha Talsania. On April 8, taking to her social media handle, Bhasker shared a video clip of her birthday celebration. She revealed that her parents and colleagues had organised a celebration in advance. "I’m the luckiest person in the world to have these parents, this family & these friends,” Bhasker wrote in her tweet.
On the work front, Swara Bhasker was last seen in the Netflix original series titled Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, in which is plyaed the role of a stand-up comedian. The actor also featured in the LGBTQ+ film Sheer Qorma alongside Divya Dutta and Shabana Azmi. In March, Bhasker announced that she will next be seen in Kamal Pandey directorial Jahaan Chaar Yaar. The film will also star Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra apart from Bhasker.
