Shibani Dandekar new tattoo: Actor and television host Shibani Dandekar got herself a new tattoo to mark her 41st birthday. Dandekar, who had earlier opened up about living with boyfriend Farhan Akhtar during the pandemic, has tattooed his name on her neck. She took to social media on Friday to showcase her latest tattoo, a gift to herself on her birthday.
The Indian-Australian singer was thrilled with how the design turned out and gave a shout-out to the tattoo artist, writing, “Inked by the best” followed by a green heart emoji. The words clearly read: Farhan.
In the picture, Dandekar’s face is not visible, however, she also got another tattoo done on her hand and it hasn’t been revealed yet. Dandekar turned 41 on August 27. Taking to Instagram on Friday, Akhtar too shared a monochrome picture featuring himself and his girlfriend. He captioned it, “With all my heart.. happy birthday Shu. Love you. @shibanidandekar.” Actor Rhea Chakraborty also wrote a heartfelt birthday note for her best friend on social media. Calling Dandekar the “world’s most special girl”, Chakraborty wrote that one friend like her is all anyone should ever wish for.
During Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case investigation, Dandekar had supported Chakraborty and spoke against her arrest in the case.
Earlier speaking to Hindustan Times, Dandekar had opened up about spending “a lot of time” and doing things together with Akhtar. She added when you need your space, do things on your own and that’s so important. She had also shared that while everybody has been asking her the marriage question, the topic has not come up between her and Akhtar yet. She said that she has told everyone that she will figure it out and let them know.
Dandekar is a popular face in the Indian television industry. She became a household name after she started hosting the Indian Premier League. She was last seen in the second season of Amazon Prime’s web-series Four More Shots Please! Season 2. She has also appeared in films such as Bhavesh Joshi, Shaandaar, Roy and Naam Shabana.
