Shehnaaz Gill To Make Bollywood Debut With Salman Khan, What Is That Film?

Actor Shehnaaz Gill who became popular with her appearance in the reality show Bigg Boss 13 is reportedly going to make her Bollywood debut with actor Salman Khan. Gill was last seen in a few music videos and she has been part of many popular Punjabi films such as Honsla Rakh alongside Diljit Dosanjh.

As per a report by India Today, Gill has been included in the cast of  Salman Khan's upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The film also features Pooja Hegde and Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. Reportedly, a source close to Shehnaaz Gill confirmed the news. They said, "Shehnaaz has joined the cast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The actress will be seen opposite Aayush Sharma in the movie." So far, no other details of her character in the film have been revealed so far.

Shehnaaz Gill Bollywood Debut:

In the film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the role of Aayush Sharma, who was last seen in film Antim, has been confirmed. The actor released an official statement, "I'm looking forward to experimenting with my cinematic aptitude with this project. From a romantic drama to an action film and now a family drama, I'm grateful for how my innings in the film industry have panned out." The film is set to release in theatres on Eid 2023.

Shehnaaz Gill has been news for quite some time now. She was rumoured to be in a relationship with late actor Sidharth Shukla. After his sudden demise, Gill was seen attending his last rites and other rituals. She has also been included in many brand campaigns over the years. The actor is vocal about body issues and has repeatedly said that the film industry does not give to people who look the way she did earlier so she had to lose some weight.

Gill's appearance in Bigg Boss 13 had given rise to many social media viral memes. In one scene from the reality show, the actor was seen ranting about some issue and rant went on to become an anthem widely shared by netizens on the internet. The same audio clip was used by several social media users when they were posting their own content.

The actor grabbed the top spot in Google's top searched Female personalities of 2021. Besides this, she is also the third most googled personality in India for 2021.
