Sharmaji Namkeen Trailer: The trailer of Sharmaji Namkeen, starring veteran Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, was released on 17 March, 2022. The plot of the movie revolves around the life of a retired widower who engages himself in different activities to keep loneliness at bay. He tries various things and finally realises that his passion lies in cooking. His son, on the other hand, isn't very happy with his father's choices.
The film is directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey of MacGuffin Pictures.

The star cast of the film includes actors like Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar.
What makes the film unique is the fact that the film features two veteran actors playing the same character since Rishi Kapoor had passed away before the film could be completed. Paresh Rawal was roped in to play his character.
