Streaming platform Apple TV+ has announced the release date of American singer-actor-songwriter and entrepreneur Selena Gomez's new documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me. The film, which will start streaming on November 4 on Apple TV+, will first premiere at the American Film Institute Festival on November 2 in Los Angeles. As the teaser reveals, the film is dynamic, personal and inspirational.

Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me chronicles the journey of the American star right from the start. Director Alek Keshishian has helmed the documentary featuring Gomez. Keshishian is known for his documentary on Madonna, Madonna: Truth or Dare.

The Only Murders In The Building actor has had a great year on screen as she was recently nominated for the Grammy Awards for her All-Spanish album, Revelación. The actor was also nominated for an Emmy Award for her role in Only Murders In The Building which streams on Disney+ Hostar.

Gomez has sold over 210 million singles worldwide as a recording artist. Apple TV+ shared in their press release, that the upcoming Selena Gomez documentary will bring out honest revelations about Gomez's career and bring her closer to the audience. 30-year-old Gomez, who has endured severe health complications, was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Lupus, in 2014. The former Disney star had a kidney transplant in 2020. The film will also dive into her battles with health and mental state while dealing with everything that came her way.

The documentary synopsis reads on the steaming app reads: "After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light."
