Kartik Aaryan celebrated his 32nd birthday on November 22, 2022. The actor received many lovely wishes among which was a special note from his rumoured ex-girlfriend and Love Aaj Kal co-actor Sara Ali Khan who dedicated him a sweet note.

Sara Ali Khan shared a picture from Kartik Aaryan's birthday celebration on her Instagram story which also featured his dog and wrote, "Happiest birthday @kartikaaryan. Hope this year is all that you've hoped for and may all your dream continue coming true." The wish indicates that the two actors are on good terms after the breakup.

When Sara Ali Khan made her debut on Koffee With Karan in 2018, she revealed that she had a crush on Kartik Aaryan and would like to go on a coffee date with him. Soon after, the two of them met each other at a Bollywood event and the interaction went viral fans claimed that was the start of their relationship. The couple acted together in the 2020 film Love Aaj Kal and was reportedly dating each other at that time. The couple dated for a year and then broke up.
