Samantar season 2: A mysterious woman has entered Kumar Mahajan's (played by actor Swwapnil Joshi) life in Samantar second season. The talented trio - Joshi, Tejaswini Pandit and Sai Tamhankar, who created Marathi romantic drama Tu Hi Re - will reunite once again on screen for the second season of web series Samantar .

The web-series highlights the story of Joshi and Pandit, who have already been loved as Kumar and Nima Mahajan in season 1 of Samantar. It also stars Nitish Bharadwaj in a key role.
Joshi recently took to his Instagram handle and shared a glimpse from the upcoming season, "From Unlit to the Eminence! Samantar Mode," he wrote.

Directed by Satish Rajwade, the second season resumes the story of Kumar Mahajan (Joshi) searching for Sudarshan Chakrapani, a man who had already lived Kumar's life and could tell him what's to happen in the time to come. In season 2, Kumar is handed a diary that details Chakrapani's life, and he finds out that an "other woman" will soon come into his life. Regarding her appearance in season 2 of this Marathis web-series, Tamhankar told ANI, "I've known Swwapnil and Tejaswini for more than a decade now. Working with them has always been so much fun."

The season 2 of Samantar will see some recurring characters and some new ones. The cast of the show features actors Swwapnil Joshi, Tejaswini Pandit, Sai Tamhankar and Nitish Bharadwaj.
Release Date
Samantar Season 2 will start streaming from July 1, 2021.
Where To Watch
The 10-episode thriller has also been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu and will be going live on MX Player on said release date.
