Sagarika Shona Suman: What We Know About The Model Who Spoke Against Raj Kundra

Sagarika Shona Suman wiki bio: Months after accusing businessman and actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra of demanding a nude audition for a web series, model Sagarika Shona Suman recently alleged that she has been getting threatening, abusive, and "vulgar" calls and messages. Suman said that she is “disturbed and depressed” as she is currently getting threatening calls from different online platforms after openly speaking against the well-known established businessman and his involvement in the alleged porn videos racket. This comes after Kundra was sent to police custody in Mumbai till July 27.

Kundra was arrested on July 19 in connection to production and distribution of alleged porn videos via an app backed by his company- Viaan Industries. Suman, in a viral video, alleged that Kundra's former PA Umesh Kamat had contacted her with an offer for a web show and demanded a nude audition from her but she refused to go ahead.

Elated about the crackdown and the action against the accused, Suman said that the investigation needs to dig deeper to reach the root of the case. She has also claimed that she would be filing an official complaint with the Mumbai police against all the abusers and those who have issued death threats to her, reported ETimes.

1. In February 2021, the model, actor and social media influencer Suman addressed the media after Gehana Vasisth was arrested for her alleged role in the same porn video racket. However, the ">interview went viral after Kundra's arrest this month.

2. She also claimed that she was asked for a nude audition by Raj Kundra. "I want him to be arrested as this racket is destroying many lives," she said.

3. She said she received an offer to appear for a nude audition over a video call, as during the lockdown all auditions were happening online.

4. The audition, she said, was to take place in the presence of three people. According to Suman, Kundra was involved too, because Kamat repeatedly referred to him as “the owner of all sites”. Though she claimed to have not clearly seen his face. She accused him of "demanding nude audition".

5. The model claimed that she was offered a role in the web series, which was produced by him.

6. In a video, Suman said she is a struggling model and has been working in the industry for three to four years.

7. Suman further noted that she will be playing the second lead in a film on late politician Manohar Parrikar.

8.  Now, she has claimed that she has been getting threatening, abusive, and vulgar calls on her Messenger and WhatsApp. Suman went on to claim that the calls she has been receiving from various online platforms have left her “disturbed and depressed”.

9. She claimed that she has been receiving death and rape threats and many people are also calling her from different numbers and asking her “what wrong has Raj Kundra done.”

10. The model also claimed that her life is in danger. She said that she will be filing an official complaint with the Mumbai police.
