Kannada Television Actor Rashmi Prabhakar Gets Married To Nikhil Bhargav

Rashmi Prabhakar, an actor seen in Kannada television shows, married her fiance Nikhil Bhargav at a convention hall in Bengaluru.

The wedding ceremony was attended by celebrities such as Chadan Kumar and Kabitha Gowda and many wished the actor a happy married life on social media. The ceremony took place on April 25 in the presence of the couple’s family members, friends and other well-wishers.

Actor Chandan Kumar in his caption wrote, “Congratulations @rashmiprabhakar_official and Nikhil..❤️❤️❤️❤️ very very very happy for you.” Rashmi Prabhakar, a big name in the Kannada television industry, got engaged to Nikhil Bhargav in 2021. In an interview with a news publication, the actor had said, “Nikhil works in an advertising agency. We first met through a common friend three years ago in an event where I was there to give my dance performance. We first became friends and started liking each other’s qualities. Nikhil was the first to propose to me.”

She added, “Since we both worked together in distributing food packets to the needy during the lockdown, both families knew about us. Just a month back we decided to inform our parents about our relationship, even though they were equally thrilled to get to know that we are taking our relationship to the next level. Nikhil understands the life of an artist and he doesn’t have any objection to continuing in this profession even after marriage.”

As revealed by Prabhakar, her husband works with an advertising industry. The news of marriage had been doing rounds since last year.

Rashmi Prabhakar has worked in both Telugu and Kannada television industry. She is popular for her role in tv drama Lakshmi Baramma. Prabhakar had made her debut with a serial named Shubhavivaha in which she played the role of lead actor’s sister. The same show made Rashmi popular as Rachana, her character’s name. The actor was then seen in a mythological serial Mahabharata in which she played the role of Duryodhan’s sister. She rose to fame with serial Jeevana Chaitra in which she played the role Domalli. Her major break came with Lakshmi Baramma.
