'Phone Bhoot' Cast Don Quirky, Fun Looks In First Glimpse, See Here

Bollywood's upcoming horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khattar, is thought to be a Ghostbusters spinoff.

Phone Bhoot Cast, Phone Bhoot Release Date
Bollywood's upcoming horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khattar, is thought to be a Ghostbusters spinoff. Recently, the movie's makers released a short teaser, and now they've released a poster for the movie that features the entire cast and the release date.

Katrina Kaif shared a short teaser for her upcoming film on Monday, calling it a "bhayanak comedy" (terrifying comedy). She additionally shared a boomerang video of her and Ishaan conversing with someone on her Instagram story. The original boomerang was shared by Siddhant Chaturvedi with the caption, "Mere Phone Bhooties." She had previously posted some fun photos from their photo shoot with the tagline, "The one-stop-shop for all bhoot-related concerns."

This film is rumoured to be part of the Ghostbusters series, where the three actors play characters who are either skilled at the paranormal investigation or engaged in some form of witchcraft. According to reports, the group will also be shown operating a business that offers ghost-hunting services.

Phone Bhoot Cast

The most recent poster has co-stars Chaturvedi and Khatter with Kaif, who is sporting bangs. On the poster, she may be seen doing a fire trick as a few ghosts from the upcoming movie are also shown. The movie also features Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadda, and Kuldeep Kushwaha in supporting roles.

The last time Kaif was seen on screen was in the 2021 film Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. Her next will be Tiger 3  which also stars Salman Khan. Additionally, she will also appear in Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi.

Chaturvedi, who most recently appeared in Gehraiyaan with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday, will again star opposite Ananya Panday in Zoya Akhtar's Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan.  On the other hand, Khatter will be next seen in the war film Pippa, which also features Mrunal Thakur.

Meanwhile, the movie Phone Bhoot is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and is produced by Excel Entertainment with funding from Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The makers of Phone Booth have moved the release date a little bit from its original release date of July 15, 2022. The horror comedy film will now be released in theatres on October 7, 2022.
