The web show was released almost a year ago and has mesmerised the audience. With the cliffhanger ending of season 1, the show makers left the audience wanting more as it hinted at Jitendra Kumar's Abhishek finally getting a love interest. When the actor was recently questioned about it, he replied. "First, he needs to figure out what he wants. And once he's got it down, he'll find love."
He also revealed what fans can expect from the show's second season. "We found the narrative of the community, its residents, and their hardships and tribulations interesting in season 1, those are the same things you'll identify within the second season as well."
In a statement on what's new in Panchayat Season 2, Neena Gupta said that actor Sunita Rajwar will play Kranti Devi and that there will be more than one female force in Season 2. She also mentioned that this season will have new characters. The script, she claims, is quite good, with interesting twists and turns. She went on to say that in terms of visual storytelling, this season is a step forward.
Jitendra Kumar, Raghuvir Yadav, and Neena Gupta feature in Deepak Kumar Mishra's series. In Panchayat Season 2, Biswapati Sarkar, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Pooja Singh will play supporting roles.

The two-minute-and-twenty-five-second long trailer that was released on May 9 opens with Abhishek having issues in the village and discussing the daily hardships of village life. The trailer depicts Abhishek's growing friendship with Pradhan, Vikas, Prahlad, and Manju Devi as he establishes himself in Phulera.
Based on the trailer new season appears to be a promising combination of drama, emotions, and comedy, with everything from a protest to a toilet seat issue. The show, like its previous season, will portray India's grassroots politics in a satirical light. Watch the trailer ">here.

The second season will debut on the streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video, on May 20 and will be available for streaming in India at 12:00 AM India Standard Time. It will also be available in 240 countries and territories throughout the world.
