Nayanthara's upcoming horror thriller film Connect is all set to release in theatres; the makers have confirmed the release date, which is sooner than expected. Read on to find out the release date, cast, plot and everything about Connect.

This December, Nayanthara, also referred to as 'Lady Superstar', will complete 20 years of working in the film industry. In a statement about her long journey in the industry, she said, "It feels great. Sometimes, when I think about it, I can’t believe that I have completed 20 years. However, there were a lot of wonderful stages of life during those twenty years."

She began her career in the Malayalam film industry in 2003 with the movie Manassinakkare, and today she is the biggest female star in South India. Nayanthara is the star who paved the way for other female actors in the South Indian film industry and established the industry for women-centric cinema. Her fans can commemorate her because they will soon be able to watch her portray a new character in Connect.

Connect Cast And Crew:

Ashwin Saravanan, who also co-wrote the script with Kaavya Ramkumar, is the director of the film Connect. Nayanthara plays the lead in the movie, which is made under the Rowdy Pictures label. Connect is Ashwin Saravanan's second film with Nayanthara. Their first film was a supernatural thriller called Maya.

Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, and Vinay Rai are just a few of the well-known actors who will also appear in the movie. Manikantan Krishnamachary handled the cinematography for Connect, and Richard Kevin oversaw the editing. The movie's music is by Prithvi Chandrasekhar.

Connect Plot:

The plot shows Nayanthara as a single mother in India, who begins to notice unsettling changes in her daughter's behaviour. She seeks the virtual assistance of a pastor, played by Anupam Kher, who suggests performing a virtual exorcism.

Connect Release Date:

As per the announcement, the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions will release in theatres on December 22, 2022, while the Hindi version will reportedly release on December 30, 2022.
