Sudha Reddy marked her debut at the MET Gala 2021/ She was the only Indian woman to attend the event this year. Philanthropist and wife of billionaire businessman Megha Krishna, Reddy walked on the red carpet for the much-awaited fashion night of the year.

Sudha Reddy chose haute couture attire by designers Falguni and Shane Peacock for the night and took to her official Instagram account to share pictures of the same. Read on to know more about Reddy and her attire at the annual event.

Reddy’s gown took 250 hours to make according to the designers. “We have created a novel edgy military-inspired look,” Falguni and Shane Peacock said, “that blends well with the overall theme of the MET Gala.” The gown also had the hues of the American National flag embroidered over it in sequins.

Who Is Sudha Reddy?

Reddy is the wife of Hyderabad-based billionaire businessman Megha Krishna Reddy. Also a philanthropist, Reddy is the Director of Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL).

According to her Instagram bio, Reddy is an “avid connoisseur of art and fashion.” She is mostly known for her charitable and has often made it to the news owing to some of her public appearances along with names like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Isha Ambani among others.

Being the first and only Indian to walk down the red carpet of the MET Gala this year, Reddy is also the first non-film personality from Hyderabad to do so.
