Meenakshi Sundareshwar release date and time: Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani's rom-com Meenakshi Sundareshwar will be releasing on OTT today.

Set in Madurai and Bengaluru, the film is about a newly married couple who have to live in separate cities for the sake of their careers. Meenakshi gets into the marriage wanting to work at a small company where she can make a big difference. She is a Rajinikanth fan who is brought up by her father after her mother's death.

On the other hand, Dassani's Sundareshwar doesn't want to join his family business and applies for a job at a private firm instead. Upon getting the job, Sundareshwar has to leave behind his wife and move to Bengaluru alone. This, however, puts a strain on the young couple's relationship to the point that they find it hard to sustain their marriage.

Apart from Malhotra and Dassani, who play the titular roles in this new age romance, the film also features actors Purnendu Bhattacharya, Shiv Kumar Subramaniam and Sonali Sachdev.

Directed by Vivek Soni, the film has been produced by Karan Johar's banner Dharmatic Entertainment. Meenakshi Sundareshwar's music has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran, while Debojit Ray is credited for its cinematography. The movie has been co-written by Aarsh Vora along with Vivek Soni.
