Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar has won many hearts with her singing talent over the decades. Fans all over over the world have been praying for her speedy recovery since she was admitted to a Mumbai hospital 10 days ago.

As per reports, Mangeshkar got infected with the COVID-19 virus and pneumonia. She has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for the last 10 days. She is reportedly going through treatment in the ICU unit. Her family members have confirmed that her condition is now stable.

One of her fans was found on the roads of Mumbai. Satyawan Geete who drives an autorickshaw in the city has reportedly dedicated his life earnings to Mangeshkar's well-being. Geete considers Mangeshkar the form of Devi Saraswati (Indian deity) and worships her. Her autorickshaw speaks loudly of his love for the singer as it is decorated with the pictures of Lata Mangeshkar and her songs.

Geete has also scribbled get well soon messages for Mangeshkar on his autorickshaw. The pictures of his vehicle have now gone viral and many fans of the singer could relate with the level of his devotion. Bollywood celebrities and other fans of Lata Mangeshkar have been praying for her recovery on social media. The Health Minister of Maharashtra, Rajesh Tope, recently gave his statement on Mangeshkar's condition. He told the reporters, "Lata Mangeshkar's condition is improving. I spoke to authorities of the Breach Candy Hospital who updated me about her health. I told them that the spokesperson of the hospital should provide updates on the singer's condition as people are eager to know about her health."

The singer is considered one of the greatest Indian names in the industry. She first started singing at the age of 13 in 1942 and since then has given her voice more than 30,000 songs over the years. Not just Hindi, the singer has sung songs in many Indian languages. The Indian government has bestowed her with three National Film Awards for her contribution to music.

She was also given four Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Awards, two Filmfare Special Awards and Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award along with 15 Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards. The number of accolades received by Lata Mageshkar is countless just like her contribution to the music industry is invaluable.
