Good Luck Sakhi release date announced: Keerthy Suresh starrer Good Luck Sakhi will have a theatrical release on June 3 this year. The film which marks filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor’s debut in Telugu cinema will see the national award-winning actor play the role of a skilled shooter.
Aside from Keerthy Suresh, Good Luck Sakhi will also feature actors Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The actor shared the news about her film's release date on Instagram. "Here’s the announcement you’ve been waiting for! #GoodLuckSakhi is coming to theatres on 3rd June! Save the date!" Suresh wrote in her post.
The film is about a woman named Sakhi (played by Keerthy Suresh), who is known to bring "bad luck" to others in her village. A talented shooter, Sakhi overcomes several hurdles to achieve success as a rifle shooter.
In December last year, Keerthy Suresh was named the most tweeted about Southern female superstar in India by Twitter. Suresh won a national award in the Best Actress category, for her 2018 film Mahanati. Last year she was seen in Telugu Netflix film Miss India.
