Making sure to make the public aware of her opinions on every possible subject, Kangana Ranaut gave her two cents on Sanjay Leela Bhansali directional Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actor took to her Instagram account and predicted, "This Friday 200 crore rupees will be burnt to ashes at the box office."

Ranaut's early review of the film came with harsh words for its lead actor Alia Bhatt. Ranaut did not just write that Gangubai Kathiawadi's biggest drawback is wrong casting, she also called Bhatt "papa (movie mafia daddy) ki pari" and "romcom bimbo". For the unversed, the word bimbo has been defined as an attractive but unintelligent or frivolous young woman by the Oxford dictionary.

Kangana Ranaut Alia Bhatt Controversy

Ranaut also shamed Bhatt for having a British passport. One is forced to ask what did Alia Bhatt do to the actor to be called so many names ? Ranaut's stand against nepotism in Bollywood has been made loud and clear for years but her personal attacks on her fellow actors make it difficult for the netizens to take her seriously.

The actor did not stop there, she said that films like Gangubai Kathiawadi ( with casting drawback) are the reason that big screens are going to South Indian and Hollywood films. She blamed the "movie mafia" for Bollywood's doom.

Many reports suggested that Kangana Ranaut's second Instagram story on Gangubai Kathiawadi release was an attack on Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt. In another lengthy Instagram story, the actor wrote, "Bollywood mafia Daddy Papa Jo, who has single handedly ruined the work culture in the film industry, has emotionally manipulated many big directors and forced his products of mediocrity on their cinematic brilliance, another example will be following soon after this release." Ranaut added that people need to stop entertaining the "Bollywood mafia Daddy Papa Jo" and said that Gangubai's "big hero" and "greatest director" are the new victims of manipulations. The actor seems to be calling Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali victims.

As the actor had posted her remarks on Instagram stories, none of them are available on the platform anymore.

This is not the first time that Ranaut has targeted Bollywood and the alleged "movie mafia". This is also not the first time that Ranaut has shamed another female actor by using inappropriate language. Ranaut was slapped with a lawsuit by veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar for making defamatory remarks against him. The actor's Twitter account has also be permanently suspended because of the ill-informed posts she used to make on the platform.

Ranaut once known for her acting skills is now often seen in headlines for the statements she makes against individuals of the Bollywood industry, farmers, students wearing hijab and the list is endless. Despite the actions taken against Ranaut, she has continued to spew hate on social media platforms. She continues to spread unverified information about public figures on her platform and because of the hateful nature of her statements, many social media users tend to ignore her. However, we must consider that the actor is followed by seven million users on Instagram. Ranaut's fans are seen spreading her ideas on social media platforms and spreading hate. Is Ranaut concerned about the consequences of her posts at all?
