Jasleen Matharu Admitted To Hospital After Meeting Sidharth Shukla's Family

Matharu said that she was so affected after meeting Sidharth Shukla's mother and his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill that she was admitted to a hospital.

Shaken by the sudden demise of actor Sidharth Shukla, Jasleen Matharu who starred with him on the show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge was hospitalised. Shukla passed away on September 2. He was just 40 years old.

Matharu said that she was so affected after meeting Sidharth Shukla's mother and his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill that she was admitted to a hospital.

The actor shared the news with her fans on social media. She posted a video in which she can be seen on a hospital bed. She said that after meeting the family of the actor, she was really shaken. She talked about how life is unpredictable. She said that she had a high fever on Sunday night after which she was taken to a hospital.

The actor wished her fans and followers to take care of themselves. After Sidharth Shukla's death, Matharu had posted a video on her social media in which she gave updates to her followers. She had said that "Shehnaaz had a blank look on her face. I don’t think she was conscious of what was going around. She seemed lost. As I went to her, I remember she asked me to sit beside her. Shehnaaz was completely exhausted and emotionally drained."

In the video posted on Monday, the actor said that she was trolled for the earlier video. She received a message " Tum bhi mar jao ( You too die)" This affected her and caused the high fever. She asked her followers to pray for her quick recovery and requested everyone to take care of themselves.

Sidharth Shukla's family has organised a prayer and meditation service on Monday evening. They issued their first statement after the actor's death. The statement read, "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve."
