Janhvi Kapoor in a recent media event talked about the trolling and criticism she receives on social media. She said that she used to give it a lot of value but has lately learned that it has its pros and cons. She said that she has been criticised by people all her life.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said, "I gave it a lot of value at one point because I told myself it was important to understand the pulse of what the audience wants, what they’re saying, where I’m lacking, what I need to work on. I thought social media was a great platform to try and gauge that. But it has its positives and negatives. "
She added that one also needs to identify that many people are on social media but it still is not the voice of majority. "It’s a huge part of what they’re thinking but they are many things to take into account, there are many variables." As a family, Kapoor said that they are used to criticism given their public presence and acting careers.
Criticism On Janhvi Kapoor Gym Looks:
"I think I’ve been used to it my whole life. We as a family have been used to it for a long time but you try to take from it what you can.”
She said that a lost of her pictures taken outside of the gym were circulate on social media. People tell that they have seen all her gym looks and the actor wants to tell that it is not all she does. She said that finds the attention "extremely flattering."
"If some people have a problem with my gym shorts and how I am looking, that’s okay because that’s not my job, that’s a consequence of my job.”
