Lady Gaga's 'House Of Gucci' To Release On OTT In April

Wondering House of Gucci OTT release date? It centres on the assassination of Maurizio Gucci, an Italian businessman and fashion innovator, which his ex-wife arranged. Those who missed out on seeing the film, which features a strong cast and a well-known and controversial plot, can now see it online. It premiered in November 2021 in the United States, and now it's coming to India on OTT.

The House of Gucci is a biographical crime drama film based on Sara Gay Forden's 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. The film follows Patrizia Reggiani, who is played by Lady Gaga, and Maurizio Gucci, who is played by Adam Driver, as their relationship turns into a battle for control of the Italian fashion house Gucci, and was released in theatres in 2021. The film is directed by Ridley Scott and is based on a script by Becky Johnston and Roberto Bentivegna.

House Of Gucci Plot:

The film portrays how Patrizia entered the Gucci dynasty and completely demolished it. According to reports, Patrizia has been dubbed "The Black Widow" for her role in the assassination of her husband. Gucci was shot by a contract killer hired by Patrizia. Maurizio Gucci was shot outside his office on March 27, 1995, and died in the arms of the doorman as he arrived for work.

For plotting the murder in 1997, Patrizia was sentenced to 29 years in jail. With the support of her legal team, Patrizia's pet ferret was also allowed to live with her in 2005. She was freed in October 2016 after serving an 18-year prison sentence based on good behaviour.

House Of Gucci Cast:

In addition to Gaga and Driver, the film features Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, Salma Hayek, and Al Pacino as supporting characters. Critics gave the picture mixed reviews, praising the cast but criticising the film's uneven tone. For Best Female Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Satellite Award, respectively, Gaga and Leto were nominated for the Critics' Choice Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Satellite Award.

House Of Gucci OTT release date:

According to reports, from April 26 onwards, the film will be accessible for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in India. According to some rumours, the film will begin streaming on May 3, 2022, in India.

However, there is no official update from the streamer yet.
