Hansal Mehta Opens Up On Working With Kareena Kapoor Khan, Calls It A Privilege

The award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta opened up about his experience of working with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Mehta feels it is a privilege to work with her.

Hansal Mehta on Instagram shared a post with black and white photos, wherein Kareena Kapoor Khan is candidly captured with the director engrossed in a conversation.

The filmmaker appreciating Khan wrote, “She is such a delight to work with. A privilege directing this powerhouse. Had as much fun and joy doing some very difficult scenes with her as I’ve had with Rajkummar, Manoj, or Pratika This one has been special Kareena Kapoor khan.”

The upcoming project of Mehta is reportedly said to be the debut of Kareena Kapoor Khan as a producer. Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures will also be co-producing the film. This will be Khan’s second collaboration with the production company, 2018 film Veere Di Wedding starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania was the first collaboration. 

Ekta Kapoor has always appreciated Khan's work. Earlier she said that Khan has been an actor with a huge, admirable body of work and while her male co-stars turned producers in due course, she's finally joined the bandwagon now! I've always believed that women have an equal part or play in the business and success of a film.

Khan has also wrapped up shooting her OTT debut project directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is adapted from the Japanese novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X', which also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead roles.
