Five Hindi Romcoms On Amazon Prime Video

Badhaai Ho

The 2018 rom-com directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma is a story of a middle-aged couple who get pregnant much to the disappointment of their sons. In spite of the awkwardness, the family comes to accept the situation. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao. Surekha Sikri is seen as Khurrana’s grandmother while Sanya Malhotra is his partner. Badhai Ho is a refreshing rom-com for its unorthodox premise and subtle romance.

Hum Tum

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherji, Kirron Kher and late actor Rishi Kapoor, the film took the battle of sexes on a whole new level. The film is about two people of opposite genders who cannot tolerate each other but keep falling in love over a span of seven years. Saif’s arrogant Karan and Rani’s Rhea who is totally opposite of him create splendid magic worth watching. The film does not fail to warm you up on a bad day.
