Filmmaker Bhagyaraj And Wife Poornima Test COVID Positive

Bhagyaraj-Poornima test COVID positive: Veteran Tamil actor and filmmaker Bhagyaraj and his wife Poornima tested positive for COVID-19, their son Shantanu said.

Actor Shantanu Bhagyaraj, son of filmmaker Bhagyaraj and Poornima took to Twitter on Friday to reveal that his parents have tested positive for COVID-19. He further added that his entire family and the staff members of his house have quarantined themselves.

He also said that they are all following the doctor's instructions. The actor requested everyone who had come in contact with them in the last 10 days to get themselves tested.

Bhagyaraj is one of the senior-most filmmakers of the Tamil Film Industry and is also known for playing the lead roles in his films. He has directed more than 30 movies but now mainly works as an actor.

Poornima too is an actor and has starred in the Tamil film Darling, Darling, Darling along with her husband in the year 1982. Some of her other movies include Yudham, Kaikeyi, Mazhanilaavu and Neenu Veedani Needanu Nene.
