Dhamaka cast: The trailer of Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan starrer action thriller Dhamaka released on 19 October. In the film, Aaryan can be seen portraying the role of a journalist named Arjun Pathak. Other actors that form the cast include Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash and Vishwajeet Pradhan. Ram Madhvani is the director of the film. It is based on South Korean movie The Terror Live.

Here’s what you need to know about the cast

  1. Mrunal Thakur

Mrunal Thakur was last seen opposite Farhan Akhtar in the film Toofaan. She had risen to fame with the Balaji soap Kumkum Bhagya. She debuted in films like Love Sonia. She was then starred in Super 30 and also featured opposite John Abraham in Batla House. She was also seen in Karan Johar’s short in Netflix’s anthology Ghost Stories.

2. Amruta Subhash

Amruta Subhash is known for his work in Marathi and Hindi films, theatre and television. She is a graduate from the National School of Drama and won the National Film Award for the Best Supporting Actress in the 2015 Marathi film Astu. She also bagged the Filmfare Award for the Best Supporting Actress for Gully Boy. She is also a trained classical singer and has lent her voice for various Marathi films. Selection Day, Sacred Games Season 2 and Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai are some of her latest works. She was also one of the five women in Bombay Begums in the role of Lily.

3. Vishwajeet Pradhan

Vishwajeet Pradhan, born on September 11, 1965, is an actor known for his work in Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets, Radhe and Ek Boond Ishq. 
4. Kartik Aryan

Kartik Aaryan’s first film was Pyaar Ka Punchnama. He was later seen in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Dhamaka will premiere on Netflix next month. Films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy are some of his upcoming projects. He will share screen-space with Kriti Sanon in Shehzada.
