Blurr Twitter Review
Pannu's horror thriller is the official Hindi remake of the Spanish film Julia's Eyes.
One Twitter user said the film "shifts skilfully between being an eerie horror & a gruesome slasher thriller." The user added that despite a few loopholes, the film benefited from Ajay Bahl's screenplay and convincing performances.
Another user summed up her thoughts by simply saying, "What a mindblowing film guys. Must watch don't miss it".
Nitesh Gupta tweeted,"Hello supertalented versatile @taapsee mam just watched #Blurr @zee5 everytime u surprised us by ur movies bt this time u stunned us wid this incredible dark suspense scary spine seat edge thriller movie #Blurr hatsoff 2 d whole team #AjayBahl sir #Outsiderfilms #SuperHIT hai"
A netizen wrote,"#Blurr rests on an intriguing plot. Director Ajay Bahl correctly creates the mood and makes good use of the locations and the grand mansion, where the film has been majorly shot"Another netizen wrote, "Watched #BlurrOnZEE5, it is a lil stretchy, poor balance but way too thrilling than expected. @taapsee as usual shone! For a true test of your patience and nerve, you must watch this crime drama."
Monika Rawal tweeted,".#BlurrReview: A cleverly written & a brilliantly shot fast-paced thriller-mystery, @taapsee's first production venture belongs to a genre she looks most comfortable in & she once again manages to impress. @abhilashthapli is a true revelation in #Blurr."
However, some users were not as impressed.
A user tweeted,"#Blurr a horror thriller, that is the remake of a Spanish film, *ing #TaapseePannu, is a strictly average affair. Should have been shorter, stretched even after the (underwhelming) reveal. Watch #BlurrOnZEE5 or maybe SKIP it."
Another user tweeted,"Flat movie, no tension felt. Not a single "edge of the seat" scene. When in climax, suspense is reveled about that person, it is very funny. Opinions expressed hereby are personal."
Sumit Kadel tweeted,"#Blurr is technically a shoddily narrated and directed film that suffers due to unbearable slow screenplay & dark atmosphere. Film rides on a challenging subject but it never make amends for an engaging watch, climax is major drawback. Boredom affair !!"
