Saif Ali Khan As Vibhooti

Kareena Kapoor took to Twitter to release her husband, Saif Ali Khan’s first look. The poster features Khan donning a leather jacket with a ghost-ridding locket. He is also holding an unusual weapon.

The movie will mark Saif’s first collaboration with Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam. His character in the movie is called Vibhooti, according to Kareena Kapoor’ post on Instagram.  “ Don't fear the paranormal and feel 'Saif' with VIBHOOTI,” Kapoor captioned the poster.

Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam took to Instagram to share the news of the completion of shooting for the film. She was seen cutting a cake to celebrate the occasion as she tagged her co-stars of the film. Meanwhile, Jacqueline later responded to the post stating that they still have one more scene to shoot.

Aside from the horror-comedy, Yami will star in A Thursday, a thriller produced by RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films, and directed by Ronnie Screwvala. According to reports, Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will be playing the characters of two brothers, whose differences of opinion land them in mysterious situations. Kapoor also stated that the movie will have elements of Stree and Go Goa Gone. Furthermore, the actor believes that the story is "character-driven" rather than "itemised," and that it contains its own "goofiness" that the audience would love.

Changed Cast Of Bhoot Police

In 2019, the movie was announced with a cast comprising Saif Ali Khan, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. However, in 2020, the makers introduced a changed new cast including Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Fatima reacted to the replacement stating that the film switched production houses, leading to the change. "Initially, it was with Fox Star Hindi and now it's with another production house (Ramesh Taurani's Tips). So, that was a massive change. Things are not that big and I am not upset,” Fatima was quoted in the DNA report.

The shoot of the film, which began in November,  was completed on February 5. The cast flew down to shoot in locations such as Jaisalmer and Dharamshala.
