Aparshakti Khurana baby: It's a girl for celebrity couple Aparshakti Khurana and Aakriti Ahuja! Taking to Instagram, the proud dad shared with fans and followers on Friday that the duo had named their daughter Arzoie.

Congratulations are pouring in for the happy couple from industry friends, colleagues and well-wishers on the internet.

Alongside a short video clip recording moments from the time she found out she was pregnant, to time spent with the family when pregnant, her baby shower and a snap from her fetal ultrasound, Ahuja on August 18 wrote there were only nine days to go for the big day.

Khurana and Ahuja announced their pregnancy in June this year and had since been marking precious milestones in their journey towards parenthood. Take a look at the duo's relationship here.

1. “Lockdown me kaam to expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain (We could not expand work in the lockdown, so we decided to expand our family) #preggeralert," was how Khurana, actor in Hindi films like Stree and Dangal, first shared news of his wife's pregnancy.

2. Ahuja, a brand manager and founder of a flea market event company, and Khurana have known each other a long time. They met at dance classes and reportedly knew each other for seven years before they began dating. They married in 2014.

3. Through her pregnancy, Ahuja shared candid updates of what the experience was like up close. She had a baby shower ahead of her first child's arrival, which saw family members Tahira Kashyap, Ayushmann Khurrana, parents and friends in attendance.

4. "What a precious day this was, so glad I got to celebrate it with all my loved ones... Can’t wait, only 4 days to go!" she wrote earlier this week alongside a video of compiled moments from her baby shower.

5. "Baby Arzoie is here! Best day of our lives!" wrote Ahuja's sister-in-law Kashyap on her Instagram account Friday, after news of the child's arrival was made public. Here's what the baby's name means.
