Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi: Kangana Ranaut Shares Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jains's Sangeet Photos

Ankita Lokhande wedding sangeet: Bride-to-be Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain had their sangeet ceremony on December 23. Kangana Ranaut, who had worked with Lokhande in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, too attended the event and shared videos and photos of the same.

Lokhande and Jain are expected to tie the knot on December 14 in Mumbai. Building up to their wedding, the couple has been sharing snippets from their pre-wedding rituals with their followers.

While bride-to-be  Lokhande was seen in a shimmery ensemble, her husband-to-be Vicky Jain opted for a black designer outfit that complimented her. Kangana Ranaut attended the ceremony in a navy blue coloured lehenga and she paired it with heavy jewellery and a sheer dupatta.

Sharing her look for Lokhande's sangeet on Instagram, Ranaut wrote in the caption of her post, “Make love not war …Aaj mere yaar ki shaadi hai..@lokhandeankita …"

Ranaut also shared a short video clip in which she could be seen embracing the soon-to-be-married couple on her Instagram stories. “Most Gorgeous couple” she wrote with the video, also tagging the duo.

Sharing another video of the couple, Ranaut wrote in her story,“ "Bahut badhaiyan...duniya ki sari khushiyan tum dono ke liye."

Ranaut revealed that she discussed Lokhande's "planet size diamond ring" as well during her sangeet. Apart from Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain's sangeet was attended by actors like Mahhi Vij, Amruta Khanvilkar, Shraddha Arya, Sana Makbul. Film and television producer Ekta Kapoor, who had cast Lokhande in her daily soap Pavitra Rishta, thus making Lokhande a household name, was also present at the event.

Who is Ankita Lokhande

Lokhande began her acting career as a participant on the reality show India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2007. In 2009, she was cast opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Balaji Telefilm's Pavitra Rishta as Archana. She was part of the daily soap till 2014. In the following years, Lokhande appeared as a contestant of many reality television shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Comedy Circus and as a guest on Bigg Boss 13. 

This year, Lokhande reprised her popular role from Pavitra Rishta for a sequel to the series. Due to Rajput's death in 2020, the role of Manav in this reboot was played by Shaheer Sheikh.
