Ankahi Kahaniya Release Date And Time: Three of India’s most famous Hindi film directors Abhishek Chaubey, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Saket Chaudhary have collaborated to bring us an anthology about love, longing and betrayal. Backed by a stellar cast, the anthology titled Ankahi Kahaniya promises viewers untold stories. Producer Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua Sara are the producers of this anthology.

The segment directed by Chaubey features actors Rinku Rajguru and Delzad Hiwale. Chaubey is known for films like Ishqiya, Udta Punjab and Sonchiriya. Chaudhary’s segment, on the other hand, is led by actors Kunal Kapoor and Zoya Hussain. Zeenat Lakhani has written the story of this short film which is a love story. Chaudhary is known for directing the 2017 Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium. 

Tiwari’s story features Abhishek Banerjee. It is about a small-town man living in Mumbai sans companionship, who falls in love with a mannequin. In an interview, Banerjee said that the anthology gave him a chance to explore the romantic side of his personality. Tiwari has directed films like Nil Battey Sannata, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Panga in the past. In an interview, she said that she always wanted to be a part of an anthology as she wanted to explore a different side of film-making.

“Cities are a hard place to live in, especially when you’re not in love, looking for love or have gotten your heart broken,” is the blurb from Ankahi Kahaniya‘s trailer.
