Amrita Rao And RJ Anmol Reveal They Lost A Baby Before Their First Born

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol have a YouTube channel called 'Couple of Things,' which they manage together. The couple frequently shares glimpses of their love life, parenthood, and family ties on their YouTube channel. However, in a recent video, the couple opened up about their four-year pregnancy struggle, revealing that they explored surrogacy, IUI, IVF, homoeopathy, and Ayurveda, among other options to become parents.

Rao and her husband reflected on a tragic event in their lives, recalling how they had previously lost their baby due to their surrogate mother's miscarriage just days after becoming pregnant. In the video,  Anmol remembers the time when the surrogate mother's doctor called to inform him that she was pregnant.

For the first time, they met the mother and felt the baby's heartbeat. However, they were informed a few days later that they had lost the child due to a miscarriage suffered by the surrogate mother. Anmol said, "It still tears my heart." Rao went on to say, "I don't think you need to be that emotional as aspiring parents. This is out of our control."

The pair went on to say that they were advised to try IVF, but that it did not work out for them either. Rao revealed that she used to 'detest the hormonal shots' despite the fact that they were painless during their time with IAF. "I chose not to do IVF again after that," she continued.

The couple revealed that an ayurvedic doctor had also recommended them. Amrita responded that the medicines were not cooperating with her body, as she began to develop skin rashes. Meanwhile, after four years of trying, the couple became pregnant in 2020.
