Alia Bhatt turns producer with Darlings: Shortly after announcing the launch of her production house, actor Alia Bhatt today revealed the first film that will be made under her banner- Darlings. The film will be co-produced by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's banner Red Chillies Entertainment and will star Bhatt and Shefali Shah in the lead. Will Shah Rukh Khan appear in the film in any capacity? There is no clarity on that as of yet.

So here are ten things that we know about Alia Bhatt turning into a producer with Darlings:

1. On February 28, actor Alia Bhatt announced the launch of her production house Eternal Sunshine Productions.

2. "Let us tell you tales. Happy tales. Warm and fuzzy tales. Real tales. Timeless tales," Bhatt wrote in the tweet unveiling her production house.

3. On March 1, the actor revealed the first film she will produce under her banner- Darlings.

4. Darlings will be co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment's Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma.

5. Darlings will be directed by Jasmin K Reen. This film will mark Reen's debut as a director. She has previously been associated with films like Fanney Khan, Force 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

6. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah in the lead, the film will also star Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew.

7. The film is a dark comedy based on women-centric issues.

8. "Statutory Warning: Auraton ka apmaan, apki sehat ke lie haanikaarak, bahut haanikaarak ho sakta hai," says the teaser announcing the film.

9. Reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan will only be co-producing this film and won't be acting in it.

10. Several celebrities like Karan Johar, Rakul Preet Singh, Zoya Akhtar have congratulated Alia Bhatt for her new venture.
