The hype for Brahmastra has been on the high, ever since Ayan Mukherjee first announced the making of this film. The film has a stellar cast along with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. While the team has been sharing regular updates about Brahmastra, its production was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bhatt, Kapoor and Mukherjee had launched the logo of Brahmastra on the last day of Ardh Kumbh Mela back in 2019. Alia Bhatt revealed the same in an Instagram post stating- "Aim for the sky they said and we did”

Brahmastra is reportedly going to be a three-part Saga and is said to have VFX on par with Hollywood films. “We all are very excited about the film…I think Brahmastra is a step ahead. It will take cinema to another level”

The release date, which has been delayed time and again, has finally been locked for September 9 this year. Brahmastra also marks the first onscreen collaboration between Bhatt and Kapoor, who have been in a relationship for the past four years.
