Ghoor's brand is called 'Swiitch Beauty', she started up as a teenager. This 21-year-old teenpreneur is well on her way to becoming a billionaire.

Here are 5 things about Rabia Ghoor:

1. Ghoor started her make-up and skincare online beauty store when she was 14. She made her first sale a year later, and at the age of 16, she dropped out of school to focus solely on her enterprise.

2. Ghoor received her award during a virtual Forbes summit honouring African women leaders who are committed to the continent's economic and social change.

3. Finding a void in the African market, she began her make-up and skincare shop online.

4. “I began researching product sourcing, formulation, e-commerce, packaging, manufacturing, design with the end goal in mind being to create a beauty brand that firstly, didn’t break the bank and secondly – made things that people would actually use in real life – things that did what they said they were going to do,” Ghoor said.

5. According to a report, Ghoor claims that SwiitchBeauty is a diverse, affordable beauty brand that appeals to women rather than looks down to them, as many makeup brands have done for a long time.

After winning the accolade she wrote on Twitter, "I’ve attended the Forbes Woman Africa Awards for 3 years straight as the youngest and least qualified person in the room each time. This year I have been nominated for the Young Achievers Award - the virtual ceremony is in an hour and my nerves are through the FLIPPEN ROOF".

Ghoor began by conducting market research. She'd sat in front of her computer for 11 hours, soaking up everything she could about cosmetics formulation. The young woman is a self-described tech novice, has used the Internet to grow her company. The young entrepreneur puts in a lot of effort to create a strong social media following for her company.
