South Africa wins third ODI against India: South African women's team has won the second match against India by six runs. The match ended prematurely after being interrupted by the rains.

The result was obtained by the Duckworth–Lewis method. South Africa's Lizelle Lee secured the match for her team by scoring an unbeaten 132 off 131 balls. Anneke Bosch was batting alongside her when the rains interrupted the match. Jhulan Goswami took two wickets for India in the second half of the match, while Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Deepti Sharma picked one each.

Batting first, team India got off to a rough start when Jemimah Rodrigues lost her wicket without scoring any runs. Punam Raut scored 77 runs, the highest for her side in the third ODI, before she was caught by Anneke Bosch on a ball by Marizanne Kapp.

For South Africa, Shabnim Ismail picked two wickets, while Marizanne Kapp, Tumi Sekhukhune and Anneke Bosch picked one each.

Today, Indian team captain Mithali Raj became the first Indian woman cricket player to score 10,000 international runs. She is only the second player ever to achieve this feat after England’s Charlotte Edwards (10,273 runs). While Raj reached the feat in 311 games, Edwards finished her career in 309 games.
