Mostly, celebrity weddings are secret affairs conducted within closed boundaries. But the talk about them spreads reel after reel on our phones. In 2023, we came across many such celebrity weddings which managed to raise our eyebrows and say "Just looking like a Wow!"

1. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chaddha

Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra got married to her bae Raghav Chaddha who is AAP minister. The wedding pictures glistened in our eyes as they portrayed the beautiful bond the duo shared. They got married on 24 September 2023 after throwing an engagement bash on 13 May 2023.

2. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra

Actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married on February 7, at Jaiselmair's posh location. The couple's wedding was memorable not just because of its glamour but also because it turned Shershah movie's sad song 'Ranjha' into a dreamy, romantic and happy song. After dating rumours circulated, the couple justified them when they got married on November 29. Randeep Hooda's recent wedding to Lin Laishram is no exception when it comes to setting new trends. Hooda chose to embrace and celebrate his bride's Manipuri traditions, sparking a conversation about equality and the need to redefine marital customs. Although Hooda belongs to Haryana, his wedding was performed in the traditional Manipuri style, as Laishram is from that state. In an interview, Hooda rightly said, "It is only respectful to come and marry in the bride's tradition."

4. Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul

After dating for four years, Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty tied the knot with Indian cricketer KL Rahul on January 23. The wedding was a showcase of glamour as it lasted for a few days. It included Mehandi, Sangeet and Haldi ceremonies conducted in as grand manner as the wedding itself which happened in Suneil Shetty's posh bungalow in Khandala. The couple got married in the presence of friends and close family members.

5. Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Khan

When Swara Bhaskar got married to Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Khan, many fingers were raised in their relationship. They got married under the Special Marriage Act as they belonged to different religions. People criticised Bhaskar for marrying a Muslim and encouraging love jihad. Her marriage was termed as another case in which a girl ended up in a fridge or suitcase after being killed by a man under love jihad. But Bhaskar didn’t pay any heed to the criticisms. In fact, she posted pictures of her marriage in which she was happily dancing and celebrating her relationship.

Aren't these weddings just beautiful? Don't they set up relationship goals for us? After seeing the wedding pictures and the stereotypes that celebrities proudly break, we all want one such partner with whom we can be different yet ourselves. A person with whom we can say that love is indeed blind to stereotypes that restrict it.
