Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has reportedly tied the knot with Mexican entrepreneur Grecia Munoz, marking a new chapter in his personal life. The news of their marriage surfaced recently, revealing that the couple exchanged vows a few months ago and returned to India from their honeymoon in February. While there hasn't been any official announcement on social media, Munoz's Instagram profile hinted at their new life together in India, with glimpses of famous spots in Delhi. Munoz, a former model, has also launched a startup focusing on luxury consumer products. Goyal was previously married to Kanchan Joshi, whom he met during their time at IIT Delhi.

Who Is Grecia Munoz?

Grecia Munoz, originally from Mexico, is a well-known model who currently resides in Delhi. Apart from her successful career in modelling, Munoz has ventured into television hosting. Her achievements include winning Metropolitan Fashion Week in 2022. Recent reports indicate that Munoz has shifted her focus from modelling to entrepreneurship, as she is now dedicated to building her own startup specialising in luxury consumer products.

Munoz's social media presence suggests that she enjoys travelling, with posts featuring destinations such as France, the US, India, and her home country of Mexico.

Despite this personal milestone, Goyal has been facing scrutiny following the controversy surrounding Zomato's "Pure Veg Mode" service. Initially launched and later withdrawn, the service aimed to cater specifically to vegetarian customers but received backlash from various quarters. Goyal explained the decision to withdraw the service, citing feedback from vegetarian customers. He emphasised Zomato's commitment to inclusivity by announcing that all riders, regardless of fleet designation, would wear the same colour uniform, symbolising unity.

Founded in 2008, Zomato has become one of India's leading startups, backed by significant investments, including support from China's Ant Group. The platform has transformed the food delivery landscape, offering convenience and variety to customers across the country. Despite occasional controversies, Zomato continues to evolve and adapt to changing consumer preferences, reflecting Goyal's entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation.
