Periods can be excruciating for some women and not always do they find someone to make them food or any gesture of endearment. In those days when you find an act of generosity from somewhere one would least expect, it really makes their day. Delivery services are now the new normal, ordering through apps and getting it in a few minutes is the technology we have all been waiting for. But no one expected it to contain a human touch amidst such technological advancement. And if something so thoughtful happens, it makes one think, maybe humanity still has a long way to go.

Viral: Woman Receives Cookies With Sanitary Pad Order

A woman named Sameera tweeted, "I ordered sanitary pads from @SwiggyInstamart and found a bunch of chocolate cookies at the bottom of the bag. Pretty thoughtful! But not sure who did it, swiggy or the shopkeeper?". She was delighted by the gesture and wanted to know if this was done by the service provider just a unique touch by the shopkeeper.

Many replied with their suggestions that Swiggy delivers from their own storage so maybe it was them, someone wrote, "Instamart supplies from its own dark stores. So definitely it's part of SOP. You can thank swiggy for that." While another person said, "May be its by the delivery boy!"

To clear her doubts, the delivery company Swiggy replied to her tweet saying, "We just want you to have a pleasant day ahead, Sameera :) ^Ashwin". Netizens too have shared that they get such surprises from their own orders, someone wrote, "They keep it on purpose for delighting the consumer and promoting the products. Got biscuits, chocolates, wafers multiple times with our orders." Others applauded the gestures, some said, "Good, a comforting gesture at right time".
