Chirag Paswan cousin Prince: Amidst the rising disputes in the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), a woman filed a complaint on June 15 against the LJP president Chirag Paswan's cousin Prince Raj Pawan at Delhi Connaught place police station.
According to a report by ANI, the police said that the woman filed a three paged complaint letter against the Prince and the investigation is still on, however, they are yet to file an FIR against the politician. Delhi police is also seeking legal advice before taking action.
On June 16, Chirag Pawan, who is already inundated with his party disputes and the alleged split of his party, took to his social media to share a letter dated back to March 29 addressed to his uncle in which he mentioned that a woman was "blackmailing Prince by accusing him of sexual abuse".
Accusing the woman to be a party worker, the letter further stated that his uncle ignored the "serious matter" after consultation, Chirag Paswan advised Prince to report the truth to the police so that whoever is guilty gets punished.

The woman, alleged by Pawan to be a party worker, filed the complaint after the Pashupati Kumar Paras led faction of LJP removed Chirag as the party head. It happened during a meeting among five MPs of the party at Paras' residence.
As a rebuttal, Chirag took the decision of removing all of the five MPs after conducting a national executive meeting. Paswan is the representative of Hajipur Lok Sabha of Bihar. According to a report by the news agency, party sources have expressed dissatisfaction with Paswan as the party president. He had taken up post after his father and former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passed away.
