Actor Osman Khalid Butt took to Twitter and urged everyone to not share unverified information about Mukadam’s death. He wrote, “I cannot believe this bears saying, but please stop sharing unverified, unsubstantiated details about the murder: the causes, the aftermath,” he tweeted on Friday, adding “especially if they’re by anonymous sources”.
The alleged murder of Mukadam comes after another violent action that happened against the daughter of Afghanistan’s ambassador to Pakistan. On July 16, Silsila Alikhil, the 26-year-old daughter of Afghanistan ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Alikhil was allegedly abducted and severely tortured on her way home. She was later released and admitted to a hospital and was reported to have swellings on several parts of her body. Read more on that here.
