Over multiple tweets, Al-Qasimi said Chaudhary, who is the Editor-in-Chief of Zee News, held a religious bias against Muslims, pointing to his coverage of Shaheen Bagh and other Anti-Citizenship Act protests in India last year. "He ran fake stories, targeting Muslim students and women..." she tweeted.

The seminar in question is being organised by the Abu Dhabi chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and an advertisement for the same features Chaudhary. More here. In a separate tweet, Al-Qasimi tagged ICAI and asked why they were "bringing an Islamophobe and hater" to her "peaceful country."

Al-Qasimi's tweets have gone viral, garnering thousands of retweets and likes.

Her statements against Chaudhary find context in her active objections last year in March against the vilification of Indian Muslims in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sharing messages of hate, allegedly posted by Indians residing in the UAE, she said it was "un-Indian" to see attacks against Muslims and Arabs.
