Hend bint Faisal Al-Qasimi, an Emirati princess of the prominent Al Qasimi family, has lashed out at a seminar lineup that includes Indian television anchor Sudhir Chaudhary, calling him an "Islamophobe and hater." The 37-year-old took to microblogging platform Twitter to make her views known on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Abu Dhabi chapter) making Chaudhary a part of a seminar next week in the UAE capital.

"In 2019 & 2020, Sudhir Chaudhry ran shows on Zee News where he spewed venom against Muslims for leading anti-citizenship protests. He ran fake stories, targeting Muslim students and women for leading the citizenship protest in Shaheen Bagh, New Delhi & other parts of the country," Al-Qasimi wrote Saturday.

In another tweet, tagging ICAI Abu Dhabi, she asked, "Why are you bringing an Islamophobe and hater to my peaceful country?!?!??"

Al-Qasimi's tweets have caught the attention of thousands online ahead of the Abu Dhabi event being organised between November 25 and 26. The seminar will be spread out over ten sessions with 18 speakers marking their presence. An advert for the seminar, a picture of which Al-Qasimi posted online, shows Chaudhary alongside HDFC CEO and Vice Chairman Keki Mistry, who is also among the attendees.

Hend bint Faisal Al-Qasimi: Here's Why The UAE Princess Is Making Headlines

Chaudhary is presently the Editor-in-Chief and CEO of Zee News, which comes under the Zee media conglomerate. On social media, Chaudhary is often faced with accusations of religious bias. Last year in March, the anchor came under heavy fire for a show he did on different kinds of 'jihad' using a flow chart that claimed an Islamic conspiracy, as reported by The Print.

Al-Qasimi, known for being outspoken on world issues on social media, has further dubbed Chaudhary a "Hindu rightwing anchor" raising issue over his television shows that she says targeted Indian Muslims and contributed to violence against the community.

"Imagine this announcer insults Muslims in the morning and at night and is invited to a party in order to speak, honor and honor them in the country in which he is insulting and defaming?!" she tweeted.
