Though her disease has no cure, she did not let it come in the way of her dreams. She scored 98.55 percentile in the CAT exam, appearing as a person with a disability

She says that her short-term goal is to join a company and that her long-term goal is to have her own start-up. She hopes to open an NGO for the blind, she tells The Times of India.

Prachi is a BBA student at Baroda’s Maharaja Sayajirao University’s Faculty of Commerce. Her father runs a garment business and her mother is a homemaker and LIC agent. Her father says that Prachi’s doctors have advised her to read using special glasses, “But she is so engrossed in studies that she finds even those glasses to be an obstacle for her.”

Cheers to Prachi who has fulfilled her lifelong ambition without letting anything get in her way. We need to realise that there is ability in disability and that we need to support disabled people to achieve their dreams.
