A video shared by a Punjab-based makeup artist named Neha Waraich Grover showed that she was doing the makeup for a Nigerian woman she had written in the caption of the video, "it was my dream to do an African girl as an Indian bride. Some even appreciated that the artist did not try to change her complexion into a lighter to make her 'pretty' which is common among stereotypical beauty standards that you need to be fair to be pretty. After this video went viral with more than 9 million views, Grover posted more snippets of putting on makeup on the Nigerian woman from the same day. And not only that she recently shared that it was the Nigerian woman's wedding day and Grover did her makeup for her reception event too. She told in a video that the woman fell in love with a Punjabi man and they had to spend a lot of time convincing their parents to let them marry. It can also be seen that the couple is dancing on Indian songs as they enjoy their wedding along with their friends and family.
